Metal detectable and heat-resistant up to 200°C, these self-locking loop tags support reliable batch traceability in food, drink and pharmaceutical production. Designed to trigger metal detection systems even if shredded, helping reduce foreign-body contamination risk. Loop tags can be written on to, or used in conjunction with thermal transfer printers.
Detectable trace tags (also known as metal detectable loop tags or detectable batch tags) are used to replace traditional paper tags in food production. They include an embedded detectable layer so they can be identified by metal detection systems, helping reduce the risk of tag fragments becoming an undetected foreign body.
In busy production environments, standard tags can tear or fragment and may be difficult to recover. Metal detectable trace tags support stronger foreign body control and audit readiness by improving visibility and control of consumables used for identification and traceability.
