Single-Use Tamper Evident Bags

Single-use tamper evident bags include security envelopes and tamper evident mailers for traceable transport of confidential documents, cash and valuables where any interference must be evident. Security envelopes are manufactured with film containing at least 80% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, available bespoke or in standard A5, A4 and A3 sizes for post, courier and internal transfers. Security envelopes feature sophisticated tamper-evident closures which are resistant methods of intrusion including mechanical and chemical attack. Each bag is printed with sequential numbering and barcode tracking to support audits, chain-of-custody and proof of delivery. Choose from stock items for quick supply, or custom printed bags where identification or controlled distribution is required.

Bag Formats & Specification Options

Tamper evident bags can be specified in different formats depending on contents and workflow requirements. Options may include opaque or transparent film, flat or gusseted designs for thicker contents, document pouches, tear-off receipts, carry handles, and dedicated write-on panels for manual logging. If you need scanning at multiple handover points, specify how the barcode and numbering should be positioned and repeated (for example on the body and on the receipt).

 

Technical Security Features

Depending on specification, tamper evident bags can incorporate multiple security elements to help reveal attempted interference and support identification:

  • security tape designed to resist mechanical, thermal and chemical attack

  • security welds and microprint features along the sides of the bag

  • water ink print beneath the security tape

  • individual numeration and barcode identification

  • barcodes changing colour when exposed to UV light

  • tear-off receipts with matching numeration and barcode

  • unique, hidden signs (covert markers)
