Stainless steel metal cable ties are ideal for extreme clamping and gripping applications, with high tensile strength of upto 160 KgF. They feature anti-magnetic 316 stainless steel and can cope with high temperature and abrasive chemicals. The self-locking head design speeds installation and locks into place at any length, providing a strong, durable method of cable bundling.

We also offer coated metal cable ties. This coating (either PVC or epoxy) acts as cushion, thereby preventing abrasion or damage to sensitive cables, hoses and painted surfaces. The non-conductive coating also provides insulation, which reduces the risk of short circuits or electrical arcing when metal ties are used near live wires or sensitive electronics. This is especially important in automotive, aerospace, or electronics applications.

 Frequently Asked Questions

What are metal cable ties used for?

Metal cable ties are ideal for securing cables, pipes, and components in harsh environments. They're commonly used in industries like construction, automotive, marine, oil & gas, and electrical installations due to their high strength and durability.

How are metal cable ties different from plastic ones?

Unlike plastic cable ties, metal (and more specifically stainless steel) ties offer superior tensile strength, fire resistance, and corrosion resistance. They are the preferred choice for extreme temperatures, outdoor applications, and industrial settings where plastic may degrade over time.

Are stainless steel cable ties weatherproof and corrosion-resistant?

Yes, our stainless steel cable ties are made from 316 grade steel, and are therefore resistant to UV, saltwater, chemicals, and extreme weather, making them suitable for long-term outdoor use.

Do I need a special tool to apply metal cable ties?

While they can be tightened manually, using a cable tie tensioning tool ensures a secure, professional finish and makes installation quicker and easier—especially in high-volume or industrial settings.
