UNI520 Surgical Locking Tags

The UNI520 Surgical Locking Tag is a tamper-evident padlock seal designed for identifying and controlling the status of surgical trays, instruments and equipment. These tags provide a simple and effective way to communicate whether items are clean, used, under repair or ready for use.

Used across hospitals and sterile services departments (CSSD), locking tags support process control and traceability as instruments move through decontamination, preparation and storage.  Locking tags are typically removed and replaced as instruments progress through different stages of use and preparation. Tags can be printed with standard or bespoke status text such as CLEAN, DIRTY, REPAIR or RETURN TO THEATRE, helping to reduce handling errors and improve operational clarity.
