Cable Seals
Cable seals are strong, flexible tamper security seals used for the sealing of trailer doors, shipping containers and air cargo containers, as well as for securing plastic distribution boxes during import and export. Metal cable seals (alternatively known as 'wire rope' seals) are all constructed with strong multi-strand metal cables which splay when cut, preventing re-insertion of the seal. Cable seals are stronger than indicative seals as they must be removed with cutting tools, and are therefore known as "barrier seals" which protect cargo by delaying intrusion attempts / forced entry.
The flexiGrip 150M cable seal is certified by the Security Seal Testing Authority (SSTA) as an accepted HMRC customs seal, and for international shipping containers sent by sea freight, our flexiGrip 325M & flexiGrip 500M seals are ISO17712 'H' High Security Classification and C-TPAT compliant - accepted by customs agencies worldwide, including US customs.
